Staff Focus: Caroline Hirsh
Join us in welcoming Common House Richmond’s new Event Sales Manager, Caroline Hirsh.
Tell us a little bit about your background:
I grew up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and then lived in Charleston, SC, the Bay Area of CA, Charlottesville, VA, and landed in Richmond. I got my start in hospitality as a wedding coordinator in Charleston and transitioned from social to corporate event sales and then into meeting planning for a non-profit.
How did you find Common house?
Member Paul Spicer first introduced me to Common House just over two years ago. I started "following" CH after that and was always excited to see what the chefs would bring to the Folk Feast.
What excites you about the world of events?
Events involve my three favorite things - connection, creativity, and food. One of the best events I ever helped organize was the 2004 Vanity Fair Oscar party at Mortons in LA. It was my first (and last) time tasting Cristal and In-N-Out Burger together. Events are an expression and limitless in their function.
Where can we find you outside of CH?
I am an avid tennis player, wannabe chef, music lover, and adore time with my friends & family (I have two kind & sweet kids.)
Any parting words?
I am thrilled to be working at Common House with the most dedicated team I have ever worked with and can't wait to get to know everyone here in Richmond and beyond.
